Marine-derived molecular platform

Understanding how living systems adapt.

R528T is the code name for a molecular family studied by Phaenora for its interactions with cellular stability, repair mechanisms and stress responses.

A deep-sea discovery

A rare material with potential still largely unexplored.

The first fractions were isolated from samples collected in a deep marine environment. Their unusual behaviour led our teams to develop a dedicated research platform spanning extraction and molecular characterisation.

Current work focuses on three areas: membrane stability, oxidative stress response and the adaptive capacity of tissues.

  1. 2009

    First extraction campaigns

The NS003 platform enables the collection and study processes used for the first R528T fractions to be stabilised.

  2. 2020

    Expanded characterisation programme

Research expands to include cellular resilience and recovery mechanisms.
